Ambrose Vargas Story
What is your daily focus, routine or ritual that you practice that starts your day off on the right foot?
I wake up with a positive attitude and get in prayer with God who is my guide, knowing that I have the capability of failure and seek His guidance.
How do you feel when you wear the NDCQ Gear?
I feel near invincible because the phrase is embedded in my spirit and wills me toward success and accomplishment. Even if I fail, I'm still alive and have the ability to fight on.
What is your biggest NDCQ moment? And/Or how does Not Dead Can’t Quit motivate you?
My biggest NDCQ moment was helping in the capture of a gang of 4 bank robbers. I witnessed 2 suspicious men enter a local bank so I just sat in my car for a few minutes extra, I then witnessed the men run and hop into their accomplices car. I pursued inconspicuously in my car pretending to laugh on a phone call while tailing the suspects, the whole time giving 911 Intel on their whereabouts. I received great awards from the city and police chief. NDCQ motivates me to be a force for good and encourages me to stand against evil, because if good men/women do nothing then evil will flourish. In my opinion we as a society lack that motivation.
What is your next personal target? Do you feel that having an NDCQ mindset and using the Not Dead Can’t Quit mantra will help you in achieving that target? If no, how can we improve our message?
My next goal lol or goals are many because I find myself trying new things constantly. I want to train my son to be self sufficient in life. We are very similar in lots of interests. Self defense, gardening, physical fitness, spirituality, among others are my next agend's. "NDCQ" attitude is in my spirit because its an attitude of love. Mack showed me his wonderful love by gifting me/BOATIE a NDCQ t-shirt and challenge coin several years ago, both of which I still have and cherish. Lastly, this reaching out for individuals stories is a great step in the right direction for NDCQ. I will always be available to help further NDCQ if ever needed.
